Videos with .mov

Can .mov files be imported and catalog just like a photo file? If so is there a min revision level to do this?

Can you clarify the version you're on please? You've posted to the Lightroom 1-6 forum, you're saying Version 9, we're all on 11; this will materially affect the answers!

yes I am on 9….have not upgraded for awhile
does LR support .mov files. Any specific way to do so?
