I am running Lightroom 2.1rc (have also used 2.').. And am having issues with the sliders in the develop module being sticky and unresponsive.. Mainly the clarity and sharpening sliders, but a few others seem to get unwieldy at times also.
My machine is a Mac Pro 8 cores @ 3.'ghz, with 12GB of RAM, 4 x 75' GB drives, running Leopard 1'.5.5.. My lightroom library is on a separate internal drive, my applications and catalog drive are on a very fast internal drive (Spinpoint F1).. By all means this thing should fly through adjustments, but it doesn't..
Adobe Photoshop 4, Bridge 4, and Camera Raw all run extremely well, and using all controls in Camera Raw seem to work awesome...
I am really thinking of selling Lightroom and just using Bridge and Photoshop, because I am not processing 1,'''s of images, but at most usually 7''-8'' at a time..
Does anyone have any suggestions to speed this thing up?
Thanks in advance..
