I sometimes just use LR as a broswer (i.e instead of Bridge which is broken) but how do I open an image *without* LR adjustments from nside LR?

Is it possible?

What I really want is to have photoshop open the pic as the RAW file, but having chosen it in LR

Is noting the file number and then browsing from photoshop the only way?

You can right click > open in Finder and then double click to open in Photoshop.

This will be way easier in 2.', where you'll be able to open directly. But why would you want to open a file directly?

is that *show in Finder*?

As I said I sometimes use LR instead of Bridge ( which doesnt work) just to browse the files

I want to open it in Ps because I'm trying to replicate an effect I managed before IN PS where having first used CM to convert to B+W I then found that by using hue/saturation I was able to bring out cloud detail not otherwise visible

I wanted to see if I could replicate it since I haven't doen it for a long time - in fact have been using LR to convertto BW - and to check what it did to the histogram now that I know the importance of the histo

Im trying to compare LR and Ps for the ability to get te most out of BW

I suspect that PS can pull more out of the sky than LR (or ACR) alone but wnt to start fromthe RAW file unadjusted so I know where I am

Does that make sense? ( or am I as usual going about things back to friont?)
