Import Using Auto as import preset

I am not sure if this question has been answered before. Is there a way to set an import preset using the new "auto" adjustment? I am under the assumption if I sync use the auto adjustment after import it just copies the same adjustments from the source to all the other files. I don't believe it adjusts each file individually. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
Hi dabsond, try creating a Develop preset with just the Auto Settings checkbox checked. Then you can select that preset in the Apply During Import panel in the Import dialog.
 
Lightroom already supplies that preset:
