Library module Using a Second Screen

I often use a second screen when using lightroom classic (Mac OS Mojave, latest version of lightroom). Using ^E opens the Loupe view on the second screen, but then for no reason the window on the second screen moves to the primary window on the main screen and stays there. I have to shut down Lightroom and restart to correct. Does anyone know why it happens and have any ideas on how to fix? Many thanks
