Uploading quantities of photos on web browser

I can upload to my FTP server small files. But I want to upload wedding pics of up to 3'' pictures. The message I get is ' there was a remote disc error'

I have uploaded successfully one wedding - but just cant do more. Its not disc space on my web site [ I have checked with the co hosting my site]

Is it just that it designed only for small numbers of photos. [ I note that in the book that came with the package it says choose 18 - 2' photos]

Any ideas anyone??

Just a thought...it may be a time-out issue on your server. While you can upload large numbers of files sometimes I've found that my server will time-out before the upload is completed.

Have you tried with (or without) PASSIVE transfer mode?

crtrotter, by the way, Welcome to LR Forums.

LR, unfortunately may not have the most robust FTP client around. Many users just use an external FTP client as a workaround. There are numerous very good freeware alternatives available.

Do try Richard's suggestion, tho'. And Gene has a point as well. Both of these things have caused trouble for other users.
