Upgrade to Lightroom Classic 10 failed

Lightroom 9.4 > 10.0

Operating System

1. macOS 10.15 Catalina

My system was on auto update. I chose to upgrade the catalogue. Error message came up Module Upgrade Failed and then a series of boxes stating Jeffrey Friedl plug-ins need updating. On accepting the errors Lightroom froze. Reverting to old version. Any ideas?

I'd suggest either stay on 9.4 until Jeffrey can sort the plugin issues or uninstall his plugins for now.

In either event, it'd be good to let him know.

Been there, done that! Jeffery has now updated his plugins. But as this is a full point upgrade you'll need a new licence number for them. A small donation via PayPal is needed.

Thanks for the warnings about Friedl's plugins. I use a lot of his plugins. He is apparently aware of the problem. He already has updates for his plugins. I updated mine BEFORE upgrading to LRC version 10. I then upgraded Lightroom to v10 and got no error messages. Yay! Now, it's time to send Jeffrey a bit more cash for all of his efforts.
