Lightroom Version Number
Lightroom Cat 2-3 -V12
Operating System
  1. macOS 12 Monterey
On opening Lightroom it asked me if I wanted to Upgrade to V12
I clicked yes.
When Lightroom opened it did not have images from 2021 or 2022. I have two external devices that usually show under folders (LaCie and SanDisk) and they do not appear
I uninstalled the program and re installed. I clicked older version but the same Cat2-3 V12 shows up when I open ( was hoping to go back to V11)
Not sure if I restore from a Backup since last one was 11/1/22. Not sure how to do it or if it would help so stopping being cautious and waiting for advice

I still have Cat 2-3 Ircat, Cat 2-3-V11, Ircat and Cat 2-3 V12 Ircat in my Pictures folder. Did it update an older catalog?? Don't even know if that is possible

Thanks

Lightroom probably updated Cat 2-3 Ircat, while it should have updated Cat 2-3-V11 looking at the names. So do this yourself. Launch Lightroom by double clicking the Cat 2-3-V11 and let Lightroom upgrade it. You may want to rename it in the upgrade dialog, so the name is a little more clear.

Thanks for your quick response. I apologize for my ignorance.
Launch Lightroom double clicking Cat2-3 -V11 Ircat from the Pictures folder in my Finder?
