Upgrade problem: 2.2 to 2.3

I just upgraded from 2.2 to 2.3 and when I open LR and try to export it hangs and I have to shut it down. I can export with a preset (I tried the email one) but when I click on the top export option it hangs. I can't get to the export dialog box.

Any ideas?

Lucinda, Welcome to the Forums, sorry you've encountered problems.
Here's a post with some basic trouble-shooting steps. Pay particular attention to step 4, that solves a lot of problems. (Read it the whole way thru, and use the 'rename' option)

I got it to work by rebooting. The first time I tried it after rebooting it crashed after partially displaying the export window. I closed it and tried again and it's been working fine.
