Upgrade only downloads half way

[Shar]

I downloaded LR 2.1 on my desktop - no problem but when I go to download on my notebook it stops at 45%. I seem to remember when I first loaded LR2 to my notebook the same thing happened and I had to change something but I can't remember what!!! Anybody know what I am talking about? Thanks.

Hi Shar and welcome, to help us help you could you please take a moment to fill in your signature in the "userCP' that is found at the top left of the page - thanks.
You could just put the d/load from your desktop to a flash drive and transfer it to your notebook.

Hi Shar

Is it the download from the website that's stopping part way through? Which web browser are you using to download?

[Shar]

Victoria it is the download from the site. When I went to go into LR the box came up telling me I could download 2.1 but for some reason it is stopping at 48%. Thanks.S

Very odd. I'd either try a different web browser, or do as Geoff suggested and download it on the other machine.

Thank you Victoria and Geoff. I finally found what was wrong in my notes. For anyone else with this problem - On my notebook I am using Vista and I had to go into tools/internet options/general/browsing history/and change the default to 15'. It worked!
Shar

Geoff I will fill in some info on User CP
