Unusual Behavior With The Color Selector

In the Develop Module, if I double-click on the right-most color box for the retouch tool, the color selector opens, as expected. However, because I have the right-side pane set to auto-hide, when I move the mouse over to the color selector, the right-side pane closes. Fine, except that there is no obvious way to close the color selector.

Anyone else?

If you mean no way to close the color slider without re-opening the side panel, then yep, same here.

I found that re-opening the side pane and then re-clicking (single click) on the right-most color box closes the color selector, but this just doesn't seem like the intended design idea. Maybe I'm wrong?

Going back to the panel works, Ian, but on a Mac anyhow. hitting escape once will close the Color Picker without losing the brush.

I think I tried escape and it didn't work, but I'll try again this evening. Nothing huge, but it just seemed "off" a bit.

Sometimes a simple restart of LR fixes odd behaviors.
