Unable to move image files

I recently updated two Macs (OS11.*) to LRC 10.3. I've always archived my files by moving them ,within LR, to an external drive...drag and drop. I am now unable to move any of the files I've added since the LRC update, only the older files prior to updating. I'm also getting a message on LR startup that I must update to continue synching. I'd rather wait to update to 11.0 for now. Has anyone else had this problem? I'd appreciate any help.

LR syncing to the cloud was disabled for all releases priro to 10.4. It does not matter if you upgraded anything to the latest versions or not. As of the day they released LR/11, syncing for all releases before 10.4 was turned off. If you want to continue syncing (at least for awhile), upgrade to 10.4 or 11.x.

I'm not a Mac person, but I'd suggest checking permissions in relation to your unable to move files issue.
