Unable to install Z8 Linear Profile

Please accept my sincere apologies if this is redundant but I was unable to find this specific question anywhere in the forums.

I downloaded the profile from TK Photo & converted it to a zip: Screenshot 2026-04-22 at 18.37.44.png

And when I try to import it to LR I get this message:

But It's NOT imported--OR--I don't know where to find it

The screenshot of the Profile Browser in LrC would indicate that you currently have a non-raw file selected, so camera profiles for raw files are not shown. Make sure you have a raw file selected then see if the profile appears in the Profile Browser.,

In the profile browser, select the + icon on the top left of the profile window, there you can import your Z8 proflie, which in your screen shot all ready is in the downloads folder. You cannot import a zip file BTW!

Thanks members for trying to help me, but I'm still stumped.

I deleted the zip file and tried to import the original file but I keep getting these messages:

when asked pick an application to open the document. Of course I picked Lightroom classic but that didn't work either.

Maybe this is God telling me that I shouldn't be using a linear profile!!:giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle:

1. Click the + button on the Profile Browser panel and choose Import Profiles or go to File menu > Import Develop Profiles and Presets.

2. Navigate to the individual profiles or a zip file containing the profiles, select them, and press the Import button.

3. The profiles appear in the Profile Browser, ready for use.
