TTG HTML Gallery is a new gallery for the Lightroom Web module, once again based on the TTG Slimbox Gallery appearance and feature set, including the usual customization options, and support for annotations, color labels and ratings. This new gallery disposes of image overlays, however, and loads images into their own page, eschewing Javascript for a more traditional presentation. The gallery is laid out in valid XHTML and CSS, providing a nice alternative to the table-based layout of the standard LR HTML gallery.

TTG HTML Gallery 1.1

I should have released 1.' as a beta for feedback; 1.1 is much more of what I'd envisioned for the gallery's first release.

TTG HTML Gallery 1.1 sees much of the gallery rewritten and strengthened to provide a sturdier foundation for future expansion. The improvements should ensure better functionality both in Lightroom and on the web.

I've also implemented the onImage Navigation system, which allows the user to navigate the gallery by clicking in regions of the photograph. Unfortunately, this only functions in Firefox and Safari; Opera and IE users will still need to resort to the standard navigation menu at the top of the page.

In any case, I hope you'll enjoy this new gallery. I greatly prefer it to the default LR HTML gallery.

TTG HTML Gallery 1.2

TTG HTML Gallery 1.2 is released and adds support for PicLens! Users with the PicLens browser extension in Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari may now choose whether to browser the gallery the HTML way or the PicLens way. For users without the extension, PicLens Lite is a PicLens-based slideshow option now available from the menu bar of the index page.

Download TTG HTML Gallery 1.2.

Get PicLens.

Great gallery, but I am having trouble with the latest version 1.2.
I was using 1.13 with no problems on my PC but now that I have upgraded to 1.2 lightroom fails to show any preview in the web module, but will create a preview in my browser. The central panel in the web module when I load this gallery is completely blank. This was not the case with 1.13. I tried re-booting the computer but this did not help.

Same here Matthew, get nothing but a blank white screen in the middle section of LR 1.3.1. Interesting in that if I go and attempt to change a color, say the text from the right panel of TTG HTML 1.2 , it brings up an Internet Explorer Script Error Window. Using IE7., XP pro

There is a syntax error in the last versions of the HTML and Slimbox gallery.

In the head.html change this line from:

<script type="text/javascript" src="resources/js/piclens.js" />

to

<script type="text/javascript" src="resources/js/piclens.js"></script>

Alastair, welcome form over the hills!!
Can you take a moment to fill in your signature in the UserCP (top left of page) to enable us to give specific and quick responses. Thanks.
If not, the Mongrel Mob may visit!!:cheesy::cheesy::lol::lol:

Well, the fix to the head.html file by Juergen got the photos showing in the center section (thanks!) BUT now there are two vertical black dots at the top right of each thumbnail. Some photos have the dots inside/on-top of the photo and other thumbs have the dots just outside on the top left. This can't be by design. Matthew, what's up with the dots?

Once again, Juergen saves my bacon. Thanks, Juergen!

I had my head stuck on how to get LR to cooperate in generating the RSS file for PicLens, and wasn't paying attention to my script calls. I've fixed the syntax error in versions 2.31 and 1.21 of both the Slimbox and HTML galleries, respectively, and also made a correction to the URLs parsed by PicLens when clicking on the RSS button in the top left of the PicLens view.

Schlotz,
I see no dots, and so I must ask you questions. First, could you fill in your signature file with your system specs and whatnot; it helps us to trouble shoot when there are issues. You can fill it in from the User CP menu, top left of your browser window. Now, about the gallery ...

Are you seeing the dots in exported galleries, or only in the LR preview?

Can you take a screenshot so I can get a look at them, or, if they're occurring in exported galleries, can you put a gallery online I can look at, and let me know which browser you're using when you see the dots?

You can post the screenshot to this thread, or email it to matthew at theturninggate dot net.

Profile filled out but this forum does appear to allow pasted screen shots so I'll email one to you in a word .doc

You can insert an image into your post here by clicking the yellow mountain icon in the message entry tool bar. The image needs to be hosted online someplace, though.

Anyway, email is fine. Thanks.

How about them questions? Do the dots appear in exported galleries, or only in the LR preview?

Have not gone as far as to create / export a galery. You should have the email with the capture now.

Matt

Just clicked on the "preview in browser" button in LR. IE7 comes up and YES, the dots show there both in thumbnail and in the enlarged version of each photo.

Matt

Matt, I just received the screenshots. The dots look like list-style bullets. Very helpful to see. I'm at work now, but will have a look at the galleries this evening and will try to eliminate them.

Well the new version seems to have fixed the problem
Cheers

Or you can just upload a file (jpg, png, txt, lrtemplate) and attach it to the message. When you're in the post editor screen, look down at the "Additonal Options" ..... See Attachment below

(Sorry, I should have stuck this in my original post.)

TTG HTML Gallery 1.2 Errors

Matthew, got your email but the zip file included looks like its for the Slimbox Gallery and not HTML Gallery 1.2... I haven't installed it because of this... Please advise.

Regards,
Matt
