Trouble Exporting to a NEW folder, and confirmation "sound"

Two issues here:
1) When I export to a folder that I've just created, it ALWAYS fails. If I create the folder and then export, it works fine. Is there any way to fix this easy to get around by annoying bug?

2) When I export, the "success" windows SOUND EVENT and the "failure" sound is the same. Is there any way to chose a different sound? I believe the event is either Asterisk, Critical Stop or Default.

What exactly is the difference between these two cases? To me, they read the same, but I'm sure that's not what you meant.

Also, which version of LR? From the system, I'm guessing Windows. Which version?

1) If in the 1st case you mean having LR create the folder, how exactly does it fail? What message do you get, if any? What are you specifying in the export location section of the export dialog? This info will help us to help you.
2) On the General tab in Preferences you can specify the completion sounds.

Sorry for my terse problem post, and thank you for your quick reply.
1) The problem seems to have gone away, I'm guessing it was fixed in 1.4. It failed so regularly I gave up on it, but it was irresponsible for me to post without checking it yet again.

2) I did find the modifications for the sound. Thanks!

Brad... Thanks for the welcome. This is a very warm and friendly site indeed, and I'm sorry I introduced myself with two such trivial "non-bugs" or "ID ten T error" as it turns out.

BTW, how do you have your photography link visible in your profile? I'd love to do that too.

When editing your signature, there should be a little 'globe and chain link' icon on the tool bar, click that and insert the URL there, and click OK. Note that will display the raw link name. If you'd like to pretty it up, just overtype the 2nd appearance of the link in the html string.

for example:

URL="http://www.anseladams.com"]http://www.anseladams.com/URL

changes to:

URL=http://www.anseladams.com][COLOR=#''''ff]Some b/w stuff[/COLOR]/URL

which would display "Some b/w stuff" as a clickable link to www.anseladams.com


note: I left out the brackets, to malform the http:, so it would display in plain text, rather than as formated links.
