Hello!I do not understand why each answer in a topic has its name on the top.What more it looks like a link,but when I click on it nothing happens.

I think makes it easy to link to a specific post in a thread Wojtek, so clicking on it will only take you to the place you're already looking at.

The topic link is great when you've subscribed to the RSS feed. Clicking on the topic takes you to the thread in the forum.

Tom, we are talking about a step further: Forum -> Topic -> Post
rather than just Forum -> Topic.

Altough, some may find your hint usefull...
 
Thank You all ,but I still do not get it.What is practical purpose to repeat it with each post.

Ok, how about an example... if I've done a long post on this thread, and then I want to refer to it in another post, I could say "here's a link to a long post on the subject, and you just have to scroll down about 2/3 of the page and...." or I could copy the link from the particular post that I want to point them to, and just use that, to take them right to the correct place on the correct thread.
 
Thank You Victoria.I got it now.Each post has its own "footprint" or like Denis wrote a number and it is hidden in topic name. :)
