topaz photo Ai and Lightroom Classic

I find if I use Topaz Ai to denoise/sharpen on my RAW image and then go to LR I cannot use the Ai features as they are faded out. If I don’t use Topaz it is ok.

The AI features in Lightroom Classic are intended to be used on mosaic Raw and DNG files output directly from a camera, not demosaiced files such as the linear DNG files outputted by Topaz Photo AI, DxO PureRAW and the like.

For now, you must choose either Adobe's AI or external AI - not both. Adobe's Denoise Demystified blog entry suggests Adobe will add support for non-mosaic files in a future version.

Thank you. Topaz Help was no help When I asked them. Regret paying over $200. for Topaz. The processing is very slow too.
