Toolbar in LR 2.3

I noticed in a tutorial by Matt Kloskowski, that he had several tools under the main image. The tools I could identify were the cropping tool, and the red-eye tool and one other.

How can the icons for these tools be moved or placed there?

I would like to be able to click on tools like this without having to open the panel on the right. Yes, I know there are shortcuts to them.

Welcome Monte.

The reason you saw those tools there is the tute used a 1.x version of LR. They were move to where you see them in V2.3 with version 2.x!

So the answer is there is no way to move them to the Toolbar.

I wondered about that, but I didn't use LR until 2.' and I couldn't read the screen well enough to tell. I am surprised that Matt K. would do a tutorial (May 29, 2''9) using the old version of LR.
