Exact Lightroom Version (Help menu > System Info): lightroom classic cc

I now have 3 versions on my laptop.
Lightroom classic 2015.?, Lightroom classic 1.0 and Lightroom CC. Do I need version 2015.(?) on my laptop any longer?!

Not if you're going to use LR Classic instead. Classic is the updated version of CC2015. LR CC is the new desktop app specifically for those interested in a cloud-centric workflow.

That is what I thought. I did not understand that saving past version meant 2015 too. I thought that saving classic meant that I was going to save the updated classic version and use Lightroom CC. Which is what I did. I probably won't merge to Lightroom CC. (not enough cloud space for this non-professional).
TY for reaffirming my thoughts.
