I am new to this site and forum, so apologies if anything is incorrect!
I have the following message on a number of photos I have edited using the Luminar Plugin through Lightroom Classic. "The metadata for this photo has been changed by both Lightroom and another application. Should Lightroom import settings from disk or overwrite settings with those in the catalog". Options are; Overwrite Settings or Import Settings from disk. I have found multiple articles on this question, however none specifically talk about editing using Luminar and then essentially bringing the photo edited back into Lightroom all as part of the same process.
To give you the full process, so I don't miss anything out. I edit a copy of the Lightroom photo by clicking on the Photo menu, then edit in Luminar. It takes me to Luminar, I make edits, hit apply then I return to Lightroom where it shows the original photo to the left, and the edited through Luminar Photo to the right. Now the strange thing here is that the warning label doesn't appear on ALL photos. For example I just edited a batch of 20 photos in and out of Luminar but only 3 have the label with this warning.
I bow to this forums experience, and any help would be great. I am reluctant to hit either option without knowing which one is correct, as I don't want to cause an issue with my Metadata. Like I say I am very new to Lightroom and Luminar, so be gentle!
thanks for any help here.
