The gradual filter...

Confused. I drag a filter down from top to bottom, and it colors dark to light. As it should. What I don't manage to do is drag from bottom to top to make the foreground lighter. I create a new grad yet it keeps changing the top (first) one, even when it is no longer selected since I choose to draw a NEW grad. What am I doing wrong?

The way you describe it you are not doing anything wrong, but it sounds as if you still select the old graduated filter on the way somehow, perhaps by clicking on the 'pin'.

hmmm, I checked that several times and the old pin is no longer selected. Thanks for your answer. I will look further. ;o)))

I fixed it. Reinstalled LR and now it is working as it should. Thank you all for your input. Much appreciated! ;o)))
