  • It's Lightroom update time again! As well as the usual new cameras, lens profiles and bug fixes, Lightroom Classic has a new local Hue tool, improved ISO-specific defaults, performance improvements and more. The Lightroom cloud ecosystem also gets local Hue, as well as Versions, Activity notifications, text watermarking and the ability to upload your own Discovery tutorials. Here are the full updates about Lightroom Classic and the Lightroom cloud ecosystem.

I run Time Machine 24/7. I installed an app that is plugins for Lr and Ps. When I opened Lr, I got permissions errors reported by Lr. Never had that happen before. The app vendor was zero help. Duh. I restored /Library/Application Support folder from the day before the app installation. Now Lr opens and runs just fine.

Backup utilities can not only save our bacon when there is a massive disk crash, they can also help us when a vendor messes around with folder permissions and will not tell you want they did. ;)

Good on you for backing up. Mac users are lucky to have Time Machine so making backups is easy.

Can you share the name of this "zero help" vendor with us.
