Syncing in LR5

I have been learning how to sync the spot removal. Part of the syncing is to bring up a preset. Is it possible to save the preset so that when I open an other image with the dust spots then it is automatically applied? TIA

Spot removal and crop parameters are savable in the copy settings dialog. These two items are not available in the Create preset dialog. If you are needing persistent spot removal adjustments, use the Copy Settings/Paste Settings menu items and selectively choose the Spot Removal checkbox. Paste Settings from Previous will transfer ALL the develop settings from the previously opened image in the develop module.
