Syncing catalog on external drive with internal drive

I created a backup catalog on my portable LaCie drive. Now when I travel and download into my LaCie, how do I sync with my internal drive when I return? (Please forgive this simple question....I'm new to this game and "getting fowled up" is not a happy prospect.)

Bob, I would have a good look at import from catalog. There are several options in the menu which may do what you want.
