Sync Specific Lightroom Albums?

Hi all,

I've been using Lightroom (cloud) and have uploaded several photo albums there. I would like to start using Lightroom Classic but only sync specific albums that are already in the cloud. Can I sync only certain ones to Lightroom Classic and if so, how do I do that?

I think the Answer is "No" It is the "All Photos" that syncs with Lightroom Classic. Any Albums that are defined in Lightroom are created as Collections in Lr Classic.

In the reverse Direction, you can define individual collections that will sync to the Adobe Cloud as Smart DNGs. These images that sync up to the Adobe Cloud have a long edge of 2560px and do not count against your Plan storage limits.

Thanks Cletus. Yeah, if I were going the other direction (Lightroom Classic to the cloud) I seems like I can pick and choose which collections to sync to the cloud.

Yes, but the moment you turn on 'Sync' in LrC it will download all original files stored in the cloud. ie. Anything you Import to Lightroom-Mobile (phones, iPads, Lightroom-Desktop) will download. That is unavoidable.
