Sync Settings Shortcut not working (cmd shift s) after beta 3 install

Has anyone else experienced the problem of default shortcuts breaking after updating to beta 3? I have been using LR2 2.6.1 and after installing the LR beta 3 when trying to use the cmd shift s shortcut to sync settings in LR2 it doesn't do anything.
The strange part is, as soon as I load the program it works, but once I change the library folder the shortcut stops working. Also, if I use the expose feature and switch to a different desktop, and then come back to LR2 the shortcut stops working.
It's very annoying after using the keyboard shortcuts for so long to have to do the same thing through the menu.
Have already tried uninstalling LR3, and LR2, and reinstalling only LR2, but no luck. I then installed LR3 b2 again, but that didn't help. I'm not back to only LR2.6.1 on the system, but still have broken shortcuts.
I even tried restoring the library>application support>adobe>lightroom and library>preferences folders from a time machine backup, but no luck there either. I'm completely out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Chadwick, welcome to the forum!

2 things to check... does the shortcut appear in the menu when it's not working? Which shortcut are you missing? The Cmd-Shift-S or the Cmd-Opt-S? It's not something daft like only having one photo selected, I'm sure!

There's an easy way to solve it - go to the System Preferences > Keyboard and create a shortcut with the right name will do the trick.

No, nothing daft. I was missing the Cmd-Shift-S command, but your fix of adding it in the system preferences has worked. Thank you very much.

For future issues:

System preferences>keyboard>keyboard shortcuts
click on application shortcuts
click the + button
change application to adobe lightroom V?
menu title: sync settings...
(include the ...)
click in the keyboard shortcut box and hold the corresponding keyboard shortcut.
click add.
