Hello all. I have a collection sync'd between Classic and Mobile. There are 135 files but only 124 appear on mobile. They are all videos (MP4's). A smiler folder has video's that did sync but they are MOV's.

I was under the impression MP4 is a valid file type. Is this correct? If so why the sync discrepancy?

Thanks

Hi and welcome!

Videos will sync up from mobile down to the desktop but not the other way round.

Hi and welcome!

I was just curious if you knew the reason why this is true? I'm a new user to all things Adobe, especially the CC account.

Also can you point me to the best guidance for how this Mobile 20GB account works?

Thanks

Hi paulybman, welcome to the forum!

Trying to use Classic with the Cloudy apps is a little messy, as you've found. If you sync photos up from Classic, they sync up as smaller smart previews, which don't take any of your cloud space. The 20GB is therefore available for photos shot on your phone to be able to sync up to the cloud and down into your Classic catalog. There's a bunch of stuff that doesn't sync both ways, most notably videos, keywords and people tags. In the back of my LR Classic Missing FAQ (in the shop), there's a Cloud Sync chapter that takes you through those limitations and other related details.
