Sync Button Question

Is it normal for the sync button to only appear in Develope Module only when I select a picture in filmstrip, otehrwise I only see the Previous and Reset buttons.

It will appear if you have more than one photo selected. Doesn't matter where you selected them (could be selected in Grid before jumping to Develop), only how many are currently selected.
