When editing images I very frequently get these errors, does anybody have an idea what's going on?

1. After a while the pointer gets stuck in 'magnifier glass' and won't work as a picker for White Balance and the curves tool.
2. In layers when wanting to tweak for instance the radial the pins and handles no longer show and so cannot be manipulated. Hitting Command-O doesn't resolve the problem. I get the message 'Show Pins & Tools' or 'Hide Pins & Tools' but they won't show either way.

Both these issues disappear when restarting the app. But I have to do this pretty frequently.

I have an M1 Pro powered MacBook Pro and I use a Wacom tablet with it.

Hi !
I am experiencing exactly the same issue.

The only solution is restarting the software, but I have to do it frequently as well! Especially if I spend a lot of time using the program…

In any case, it becomes so “slow” as I use it (masks, scrolling through photos, etc.) that I end up restarting it anyway.

I have a MacBook Pro M3 Pro with 18GB of RAM (not a rocket, but far from a computer that shouldn’t be able to run Lightroom Cloud properly).

When it gets stuck on the zoom tool, I’ve found that a lot of times it helps to tap the spacebar. For some reason, tapping the spacebar toggles it back to the tool it’s supposed to be. I don’t think it’s supposed to work that way, of course…

Does this also apply to LrC. I am suffering from a lot of this after upgrading to 14.01 (plus a lot of other instabilities).

Oh, well it looks like I wasn’t paying attention to the fact that this is a Lightroom and not Lightroom Classic thread, sorry folks…
…so Gnits, my answer about tapping the spacebar was actually about Lightroom Classic!

But who knows, maybe it also helps in Lightroom?

Thanks.. Hopefully Murphys’s Law kicks in and I might never have to use it again……. he said optimistically. !
