I have a photo that looks normal in the Library, but when I go to Develop, there is a line across the photo near the center. It's not a visible line, but a change in the overall tone in the photo between top (lighter) and bottom (darker). I hope this makes sense.

I figured there was some kind of error when rendering the preview, but I can't seem to find a way to manually reload the preview in Develop mode. I tried the reset button with no success. I searched far and wide for a solution here and on Adobe's site, but came up empty. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi hypercube, welcome to the forum!

Any chance you can post a screenshot so we can see exactly what you mean? And what happens if you export the file?

Thanks for the response. To add to what I posted earlier, I was able to correct this bug by quitting lightroom and restarting the app, but it has happened to me twice, which is 2 times too many imho. I have taken screen shots in any case to share. Thanks!

Strange! Do you have another raw processing software to check the file in? I'm inclined to agree with Mark about corruption, although that's the weirdest corruption I've seen in a while. If you don't have other raw software to compare, feel free to drop it on my server (http://vbftp.net) and I'll try it here.

That's a good suggestion, although it didn't occur to me at the time. In any case, restarting the software fixed the problem... I think I will probably see this again in the future though and I'll try it in Sigma Photo Pro next time the issue arises. Thanks for looking at this!

No problem, glad you got it working ok!
