Hi all,

New here and wonder if anyone seen my problem before and have any input.
I'm a photographer and use LR generated galleies for my customers to choose their prints from, most often it's wedding couples.

Recently I have had a problem with dots/smudges on some pictures in the web galleries, the problem is only on the web pictures and the LR previw of it, not in the picture itself.

I think this has started to occur after I switched to Vista 64 nad LR 64 but i'm not absolutely sure it's a connection there.

Some have reported they don't see the problem in the pictures running opera but with IE they are very visible.

Here's an example of such a pic, the white smudges on his sleeve is not there in real live or the original image...

Welcome to Lightroom Forums.

This could be a color management issue. The spots are areas that, I'm guessing, should be pure black.

The file looks normal from a color management standpoint -- sRGB is embedded. Does anyone else see this, or is it just Bjorn's system?

The thing is that neither IE nor Opera are color managed, so this theory doesn't quite explain the difference between them. Anyone have other ideas?

I think that's probably the same old CSS bug in IE that's been around since V1. It's an IE bug, although I thought it was fixed in more recent IE updates.

Solution - use an alternative gallery. There are tonnes of third party galleries which actually look nicer too.
