hello there,
after upgrading to 2.2 on my mac pro,it's working really fast and smooth.
but they didn't fix one bug that keeps annoying me.
when I paint flags to select photos, the view keeps jumping to the top of the folder everytime I paint,if the thumbnails are any bigger than the smallest size, which is very unnerving because I have to scroll down to where I was before to continue.
and that bug is still there !!!:evil::twisted::cry:
anybody having the same?
cheers, zobelinski:cheesy:

Can you describe exactly what you're doing to trigger this? I don't see that happening with the Painter Tool, but perhaps what's happening is that you've got a filter going, and the flags that you're painting are what the filter is filtering out?

hi mark,
just checked again.I'm in the library, having the paintcan on flag and no filter going and the display keeps scrolling upwards, sometimes not all the way to the top, but really weird.
doesn't yours do that?
have had that since lightroom came out.
kind regards
zobelinski

I can't replicate this either !! mmmmmmmm.......

hey guys,
just tried it again, still there , could it be something with my wireless mouse?

Don't know about that, I use wireless as well but different OS...
Maybe you could put up a screen shot of the view in library.....

found the reason !!!
I had ticked the autoadvance option in the lib/photo dropdownmenu, so it always went to the next pic of the previously selected pic and if that was at a diferent scroll position, it automatically scrolled to have that one in view.
thanks for your answers
cheers, zobelinski

Good find !!! LOL
Haven't used that option myself - always something else to try !:lol::cheesy:
