Hi,

I know this question will have been asked before, but I cannot find one directly relating to my position.

I have just started using Lightroom together with Elements, pretty much all of my work is used on web or PC, so very seldom printed.

Can you confirm that my settings for export into Elements and back are correct:

TIFF - sRGB - 8-bit (I am pretty sure Elements is 8-bit only)

I know this is an obvious question, and know you guys will give me a quick answer.

Thanks,
Mark.

I would, at the least, use Adobe RGB, which contains more color info than sRGB.

Elements will handle some functions in 16 bit, but if you're mainly just doing web and pc type things I don't think 16 bit is worth the extra space it takes.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like you have pretty much the same set up as me. I have the camera set to sRGB and then keep sRGB all the way through, I think this makes sense as Adobe RGB appears to be tailored for print.

How do you have yours set up?
