It's a quick method for applying metadata of various sorts to images in Grid view. You just "spray" keywords, metadata presets, collection membership, etc.
Hi Mark,thanks, got it now, use the drop down menu and make the selection, thanks for your response, I would imagine I would use this function primarliy for colouring labels or setting stars.
I use it most frequently for applying keywords -- specifically, people's names in a party-type setting, where there aren't a lot of shots of the same people in order.
If you have a camera that doesn't auto-rotate, then I could see it being very helpful for that as well.
