I have historic photos that have typed captions on the backside of each photo. Each file (separate file for front and back of photos) name has a number plus "a" for front and "b" for caption on back of each photo.
I can sort ok in lightroom desktop but cannot figure out how to sort by file name on my ipad. Please advise.

Welcome to the forum Lightroom (cloudy) and Lightroom Classic have different features and sorting option are different, In Lightroom (cloudy) some sorting is called "Segmentation" and is found behind the 3 dots (...). Also there is an option to sort by Capture date a part from there Segmentation option In this case Lightroom (cloudy) and Lightroom Classic are "apples to oranges"
