Lightroom Version Number
LR Classic 10.1.1
Operating System
  1. macOS 11 Big Sur
With one of my cameras I only use a couple of lenses. It's a Leica M9 and I use a 90mm Leica 2.8, a 50 mm Leica 2.0 and an 18mm Zeiss ZM 4. I swap around between these frequently, so that when I upload an SD card there is usually a mixture of 'lens corrections' required. Lightroom doesn't get the lens details from the file*, so I always have to manually input them. However, whenever I try to correct the profile LR always presents me with a long list of makes and then once you get into profile an even longer list of Zeiss or Leica alternatives. It never goes back to the last one I used, I always have to scroll. Is there any way to shortcut this, or better yet to truncate the lists? Though I don't lack respect for Apple, Bower or ZY Optics I don't want to keep scrolling past them for the lenses I'm actually using. Is it possible to set LR so it goes back to the last profile you used? Sometimes I shoot weddings and scrolling through cameras and lens makes, then hundreds of lens types within the makes is becoming tedious.

By the way the ZM 18 correction in LR massively over-lightens the corners. Is this common for very WA lenses?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Yours
John

*none of these lenses are coded, so I imagine the information telling LR the lens identity isn't in the file. Interestingly when I use those lenses on my Leica SL the camera guesses the lens (usually correctly) so the LR Lens Corrections has a flying start. But I don't do this much as I have the SLs Leica 24-90 lens

Make a develop preset for each of the lens with just Lens Corrections checked in the preset's settings.
