Smugmug, Zenfolio, PBase - best LR integration?

Which one of these sharing sites integrates BEST with Lightroom?

I'm not asking about the sites themselves and their OTHER features, strengths and weaknesses - just integration w LR.

Both SmugMug and Zenfolio have Plugins for uploading and some managing (creating galleries) from LR. I use the SmugMug one. they are available at Jeffrey Friedl’s Photography Tech Posts Including LR Plugins

I don't know anything about pBase.

Cant help with comparison but Smugmug works really well for me.

If anyone has any links or knowledge about a PBase plugin I'd appreciate it; been very happily with PBase for a few years now, don't wish to move to another site and of course a plugin might even motivate me more to update it once in a while!!

You could visit Jeffrey Friedl at his site and make a request for one. He has been doing all kinds of plugins.


He might be even more inclined to if you know others that would use one for PBase.

I use smugmug for almost 5 years and cannot complain at all. Their support forum is outstanding.

I need to install the LR plug-in yet, though...:lol:

One more of what they said, I use the Smugmug plugin, and it is effortless, all I do later is go touch up the gallery arrangement and sort order. If you keyword what you upload to which gallery you can even easily wipe out a gallery and reload (say after you do more edits or change captions, etc.).

I'm a Zenfolio user and can attest that Jeffrey's plugin makes it very seamless as well. Pretty much the same functionality the SmugMug users are describing.

if you look on the DGRIN site, which is the forum of the smugmug family, there is nevertheless a very frank discussion about the differences between SM and Zenfolio (studio???)

You'll have to do a search but it is there somewhere

I know nothing about Zenstudio myself but I do know that Smugmug have the most extraordinary and transparent customer support, they really go the extra mile (and no I dont work for them). So aside from features between the two - I would also study the customer support
