Is there a way to open a Lightroom image as a Smart Object in Photoshop CS3? I know I can open in Photoshop and then convert to a Smart Object but that does not allow returning to Lightroom for adjustments.

4 August 2026 It's Lightroom update time again. There are some new features, as well as bug fixes, new cameras and lenses.

Not directly as yet. You can export as original (raw or dng) after saving metadata and use a droplet, AFAIK. Not tried myself.
