In WindowsMediaCenter, when playing a slide show the pictures have this great constant "moving" and "zooming" effect. I was wondering how hard it would be to get something like that in Lightroom

17 June 2026 It's Lightroom update time again. There are some major new features, as well as bug fixes, new cameras and lenses.

There is currently no way to get the Ken Burns effect with slideshows in Lightroom. Photoshop Elements has this, though (at least the last version I used).

I think one of TurningGates has this, and the SlideShow Plugin (Not free). See other threads for these.

I'm not sure SlideShow Pro will let you do this effect without custom ActionScript. If it will, that's new.
I don't know if the OP was referring to slideshows just in the slideshow module, but it would be a nice if you could do something like this in this module in the future.
