Is there a way to put a password on exit (like in the default windows slideshow) on the exported PDF slideshow?

(I would like to be able to leave the PDF slideshow running in a room with strangers without having to worry that somebody does something to it.)

Please, go to the "User CP" in the menu above and edit your signature so we know more about your equipment. This help us give you the proper advice...

Meanwhile, if I guess you are on Windows, your solution is quite simple:

- Export the photos you want in your slideshow to a given empty directory.
- In your Windows display preferences under the "Screensaver" tab, there is one to show your "Photo album". By editing the preferences you can navigate to your prefered folder and set the pasword to stop the show.

It is just that you won't get all the options you can set in Lightroom's SlideShow module...

The built in slideshow in Windows is really poor. I can not change the backgrund color and the photos jump around all over the screen, and so on... I do not want to use it.

I really like the look of the PDF slideshow.

More advice?

Well, if you uncheck the second to last check box, they will not bounce around as this remove transition effects.

As I said, it is just a pure and simple "Image changer" like a slide projector of the old days.

This make me think that you may suggest to Adobe an option to export Slideshows as "SreenSaver" (.SCR) format...

What, no PC system keyboard lock???

LOL

How funny!

I think Don's suggestion is the best for our new member's problem.

 But (there is always a but), I wondered if there was one on my Compaq laptop because last year it happened in a quick slideshow on it and teenagers where pushing buttons to tamper...

It seem that my laptop is the first one I see not having it

Maybe an hidden key combination I have to look for in the manuals...

Let me clarify, that as far as I know the is none (Keyboard lock) for Mac Laptops.

I was just being cheeky!

LOL
