Slideshow on Windows

I've had a query as to whether the drop shadow is available on the Windows LR2 version. Is it possible?

Yes. "Internal" features are identical, but it's OS stuff like spellchecking, drag and drop, email, where Adobe haven't favoured Windows users.

Drop shadow was mac-only at one point, wasn't it? Didn't it use core image or some other mac-only function?

I don't know about that, but in Slideshow's Options Panel, Cast Shadow is there.

Thanks for the responses. Have now more information. The punter can add drop-shadow to slides but not to text.I've attached a screen shot from him (LR2-') and one from me.Could someone check on Windows whether Shadow in the Overlays Pane is there or not.
