I've actually brought a new Mac as LR3 won't run on my old one!

Only been using it for a few days and I've encountered some problems with the slideshow module. Firstly let me say that I love the set duration feature and the sound track plays every time (which it didn't in LR2).
First problem.. Images in slideshows appear to randomly loose their orientation. ie: in a slide show of 2' upright images one or two appear as landscapes.
Second problem.. Unless the images have been opened previously in LR3 the slideshow only displays a low res blocky preview. LR2 would appear blocky for a few second while the image loaded but LR3 never seems to load the image.

I know it's only a BETA version so I'm not complaining. I'm just wondering if anyone else has the same problem or even better a cure.

Yeah, random portrait images showing in the wrong orientation, and preview issues are both known bugs, so don't worry. No fix for now though, sorry.

I'm noticing it too. I'm also noticing pics randomly disappearing, then reappearing and being totally out of order. Re: photo orientation - I can't get some of them to go back the right way.

It's really screwed up. I haven't attempted to export yet. What happens when you do?

Export works fine. Haven't checked slideshow export.
