"Show In Explorer" does not select file?

When I right click on a photo and select "Show in Explorer", it opens the folder but does not select/highlight the file. Virtually every other software DOES!

Is this supposed to happen... It isn't exactly showing it in explorer when I may have hundreds in the folder!!!

On Win7, Lightroom 2.5...

Hmm, both 2.5 and 3.'b are selecting the file for me on VistaHP64.

Is it possible that the image in question is marked missing (? icon in upper right)? If that is the case, LR will show the folder that it had cataloged for the image file, but not the file itself

Hmm... nope... I'm trying every/random files... they are all going to the folder but not selecting the file

Anyone else on windows 7?

Edit: okay... I restarted Lightroom and now it is... very weird!

99.99% of all problems are resolved by restarting the computer !!
Sometimes for no apparent reason the computer appears sluggish...just restart it...
