Shooting directly into Lightroom (MAC)

Hi all,
I have a great challenge for all of you: I want to shoot with my Canon 1Ds directly into Lightroom ... may be with automatic import or any either way:

Mac OSX 1'.5.4
Firewire
Lightroom 1.3.1
EOS Utility 2.4

Surprise me

Here you go. I wrote this with LR v1 in mind. I don't know if the new Lightroom changed anything. Hopefully not:
