set common filter view for all folders

Does someone know if it's possible to set the filter view so that it stays the same whatever folder you're viewing ?

ronfya, welcome to the forums.

Not as such, no. You can save a filter preset, which you can then apply to folders/collections as you open them. That setting should then be persistent, the next time you open that view.

I've just had an interesting thought, that I'd like to experiment with. I'll let you know if it helps. Never mind, that idea didn't work.

No, but please put in a Official Feature Request/Bug Report Form, because I'd also love to see a 'make this filter apply globally' checkbox!!! And welcome aboard!
