Does anyone know how or if it's possible to have the Lightroom catalog and previews files in separate locations? (ie. separate drives?)
This might seem like a strange request but I've been tinkinering with my Macbook Pro and have been trying to speed things up a bit with one of the newer ExpressCard SSD (solid state drives, 115MB/s read). Booting off of the drive and lauching applications is noticably quicker but because of the constrained space (only 48GB), I'd like to have my catalog on the SSD with the previews on a separate conventional hard drive.
Is there an option or some way of setting up a pointer to the hard drive for the previews file?
I'm running Mac OS X Leopard 1'.5.7. Thanks in advance.
