I'm helping a friend move from Photos to Lightroom (around 100k photos). This means we're adding big batches of photos to Lightroom mobile from her iPhone photo roll. We're doing it year by year because the first bulk add of 40k photos seemed to work only partially.

As I'm concerned about duplicates (the photos are not organized well, and we also imported an old store from LR classic), I want to put all imported photos from "this batch" in an album, so that if a pile of duplicates is discovered one day when she is sorting her photos, she can easily remove those that were added by mistake and are in that album.

Anyway, that's the context. My problem is the following: past the last few "recently added" batches that I can see in LR Cloudy (5 timestamps), is there a way to sort/select "photos added on September 15th between 18:00 and 19:00"?

Lightroom Mobile does not give you the ability to search by history. Photos are stored in the cloud and presented by capture date. You can filter by capture date and there are special albums for Recently added and recent Edits.
If you are looking for duplicates, then the capture date for duplicates should cause them to sort together . The capture date should take precedent over all other date fields stored in the image file header.

here capture dates are a problem because lots of photos have been imported from whatsapp and stripped of EXIF (yes I know, not my photos!)
by "recently added" album, do you mean the "menu bar" under "All Photos"? the problem with that one is that when you are importing 20k photos and it tells you "imported 2 minutes ago" and "imported 10 minutes ago" (etc) you will not have your latest import of 20k photos in there...
