Seeing white artifacts when viewing on the web gallery

I'm seeing white artifacts on some images that are rich in black when viewing the gallery that was generated by Lightroom v1.4 or v1.3. If you just look at the image by browsing to the image alone it does not contain any white artifacts. This is only effecting a small hand full of images. How can I correct this.

Welcome to our forum. I took the liberty to edit your post, where a strange font size had crept in in the middle. I ma not sure I am seeing what you are talking about.

For future reference could you fill out you Signature (under User CP above) with System, LR Version and OS, and gear.

I do see what he mean under Explorer7. Going to his second link, there is no problem but if you get the same image from the first link showing three images in a gallery and clicking the first, the coat of the man is full of "confeti" like thingies. Same for the other two if clicked from the gallery to enlarge.

Hmm, I see it in IE7, but not in Safari 3.1.2 or Opera 9.6.2. (XP Pro SP3)

I wonder what that means?

Ooooooh, it's ages since I last saw that one. I thought that was sorted. I have vague recollections of it being to do with odd spacing just in IE.

Workaround for now - it only appears on certain galleries from memory - try some of the third party galleries instead, like those by Matt at Turning Gate.
