EXIF Trouble

I found the following in regard to searching EXIF data in Lightroom (Adobe Help, Kelby and Evening did not have much to say on the subject):

Dimensions: Cannot search;
Cropped: Cannot search;
Exposure: Searchable with Metadata Browser or Find;
Metering Mode: Cannot search;
Exposure Program: Cannot search;
Exposure Bias: Cannot search;
Iso: Searchable with Metadata Browser or Find;
Focal Length: Searchable with Find;

Items like Spot and Pattern are in the Metering Mode category, and I found it unsearchable.

Please let me know if you can find a way to search the items that I found unsearchable.:roll:

Can't be done with Lightroom alone.

What you can do is run your files through exiftool (or something similar). You'd read the metering mode field, and write a corresponding value out as a keyword or something, which Lightroom would be able to search.

If you want more fields to be searchable, file a feature request!
