Saved PSD in LR2 wil not show in Library

In ver 1. every time you create PSD file (using-edit in Photoshop) you could see this file in your Library next to original RAW.
In version 2.' I have to synchronize folder to see this PSD file.....

Is there a setting I should check ?

No, it's a bug that's being addressed by Adobe. See this lengthy thread on the LR U2U forum for lots of info about this problem:

As discussed there, setting the additional external editor to PS works to circumvent the problem for lots of users.

It is not the same problem. I can edit in PSCS3 but after saving file I have to sync folder. Until that is done my file is not visible in LR. After sync everything is fine.
In ver 1.x LR create PSD file as soon you edit RAW. PSD was in library in this moment.
In ver 2 LR is not creating psd until you save file in PS but in this moment psd should be visible in Library but is not...

I believe there are several interrelated bugs, of which this is one. There are several different degrees of failure in the LR<->PS interchange process.

Wouldn't hurt to file an official bug report, see the Tool Bar link at the top of the forum.

The suggested workaround for this is----to go to preferences and make your alternate external editor be PSCS3. You should get a message saying that you already have PSCS3 as your editor and do you want to do this. Say yes. Then--when you right click over your image to round trip to CS3, in the dialog box choose photosho.exe instead of PSCS3. This works for almost everyone.

When the editing to PSCS3 is correct, if I understand it from watching videos and reading, there should not be a tiff/psd added to the library until you 'save' in PS. If you don't save--then there will be no added edited file. I stand to be corrected if this is not correct (since its not working for me in either XP Pro or Vista) since I can't say this from actual use. However, the workaround works fine for me in both.

Well, it is quite a long thread so I understand how you could be misled. However, see message #228 for a summary provided by the LR engineer working on the problems. The symptoms you describe can happen if you have special character in your folder names. Is this the case?

I read message 228....looks like I have this problem.....
It is only on 64bit Vista machine.
My XP windows does not have this problem....
